As I talk to fellow small businesses, local community groups and organtizations across the county, I'm amazed and proud hear those little green stories that pack a big punch. With all of the talk about big name brands attempting to reduce their carbon footprint, we forget about the little guys - the start-ups, the dreaming entrepreneurs, the nonprofits on shoestring budgets - who have a green code of ethic.
At Freddy&Ma, the custom handbag company started by the brilliant brother and sister duo Anthony and Amy Pigliacampo, they do three little (ok BIG) things that I love.

2) they manufacture their bags using local contractors
3) their business is on-demand, so they make only as need
